Composite Rhythms - Abstract Works on Paper
Composite Rhythms is a series of abstract paintings exploring color and noncontinuous pattern. Painted in acrylic paint on Arches watercolor paper and Lokta paper, some include collage and drawn elements, as well. Some of these works are stand-alone paintings and some are associated with groups of two, three, or four. Groups are shown together on this page but can also be shown individually.

Abstract Works on Canvas
The paintings in this gallery are essentially abstract. Some are purely abstract and some are loosely based on natural forms or actual things in one way or another. The line between abstract and representational imagery is often a fuzzy one for me. Some are oil, some are acrylic. Some acrylic paintings are on loose canvas and/or incorporate collaged elements such as recycled paper.
