About MOMMA
This art exhibition explored themes of motherhood from the visceral to the emotional to the intellectual, responding to a society that sentimentalizes mothers but does not always respect them. Four New Hampshire artists—Marcia Santore, Laura Morrison, Patricia Schappler, and Annette Mitchell—reflect how artists who are mothers address concepts of nurturing, biology, connection, family, chaos, fear, and loss. Curated by Marcia Santore.
